Our restaurant offers delicious home-cooked Scottish dishes with some family favourites thrown in, serving food between 6pm & 8pm.
Sourced from local ingredients where possible, to start, choose from a selection of smoked seafood or a traditional Lentil or Tattie soup. For your main, we offer dishes including traditional fish & chips using Scrabster landed haddock in a beer batter served with our hand-cut triple cooked chips to a traditional Haggis, Tatties and Neeps with a Whisky Pepper & Mustard sauce, plus many more dishes and specials to suit most tastes.
To finish, we have a delicious choice of sweet desserts, Scottish cheeses, and a selection of after dinner tipples made by our local distilleries.
In our lounge bar area you can sample local beers from John O Groats & Orkney Breweries. Gins, Rum and Vodkas from Dunnet Bay Distillery and North Point, or choose from our varied list of Scottish Malt whiskies featuring many of our local distilleries such as Wolfburn, Old Pulteney, 8 Doors or a Highland park from over the Pentland Firth in Orkney.

Whilst the restaurant is open to non residents, during the main season availability is very limited and priority will always be given to our guests. There is a 10% additional charge for non residents.
